Location: PA-Philadelphia, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Responsibilities:
Core Financial and Billing
Analyze and document billing, invoicing, discounting, credit, refund, and revenue workflows across business products (Ethernet, Voice, Managed Services, etc.)
Translate complex finance and accounting needs into clear business requirements, user stories, and process flows
Understand end-to-end flows: quote ? order ? provisioning ? billing ? revenue ? GL impacts
Evaluate impacts of changes on financial statements, journals, and reconciliation processes
BA Delivery
Facilitate requirements sessions with Finance, Billing Ops, Revenue Ops, and Accounting SMEs
Document current-state and future-state processes with clarity and precision
Act as Business Owner during solutioning and grooming cycle, ultimately being responsible for accepting user stories
Create detailed documentation, including functional requirements and support an end user content creation that maybe needed
Autonomy and Stakeholder Engagement
Manage up to overloaded team leads; drive conversations without waiting for direction
Proactively anticipate gaps, raise questions, and recommend solutions
Take full ownership of assigned workstreams once ramped up
Communicate effectively across technical teams, functional stakeholders, and leadership
Qualifications:
5+ years as a Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, or Billing Analyst
Strong background in finance or billing - this is more important than telecom experience
Hands-on experience with:
Billing system enhancements
Revenue operations
Accounting/journal entries
Financial reconciliation
Requirements writing
Process analysis
Experience writing business requirements for how financial processes should operate, not just documenting what exists
Proven ability to run independently once ramped up
Excellent communication: assertive, structured, and able to work with overwhelmed stakeholders
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
