Mechanical/Automation Engineer

There is an exciting opportunity for a mid- to senior-level mechanical engineer to be a part of a state-of-the-art facility paving the way for similar sites in the future. They are hiring someone who is specialized in automation engineering supporting manufacturing processes and systems. This is someone that has experience in a role like this in the past for a pharmaceutical and/or life sciences industry. You should feel comfortable with PLCs and programming distributed control systems, as well as troubleshooting and supporting any network communication and electrical components.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-n experience with some of the cutting-edge tools and technologies in this field while working for an engineering team that prides themselves on their culture and environment. This will be 5 days onsite near Frederick, MD and a salaried, fulltime role. Required Skills & Experience

• Mid- to senior-level automation engineering experience
• OT experience
• Experience working with Allen Bradley or similar
• Experience working with Emerson or similar
• Background working in the biotechnology industry
• BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in and scaling new sites
• Experience researching and implementing new process automation technologies
