Description
SAIC has a potential opportunity for a Data Center Manager to support an Enterprise-wide IT contract for the US Army military intelligence (MI) community. The candidate will be responsible for meeting all aspects of engineering requirements at the site, and for advising on engineering planning, integration of new/emerging capabilities, and resolving engineering issues across the global Army MI IT enterprise. Also responsible for managing all aspects of O&M for the site's MI data center and developing / enforcing TTPs for the operation of Army MI data centers at other geographically separated locations.
This position is contingent upon contract award which is anticipated summer 2023.
This work will be performed on site at Ft Bragg, NC.

- Accountable for all aspects of engineering and manages the hands-on, day-to-day execution of related operational activities
- Responsible for engineering operations including requirements analysis, systems design/solution, modeling, updates/modernization, security, maintenance, and accountability
- Responsible for meeting all technical requirements related to Engineering
- Ensures that processes and network/systems Engineering meet performance requirements
- Point-of-Contact for Systems Engineering and Data Center Management issues for INSCOM's Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA) function
- Authorized to act on all matters relating to the daily operation of the task order related to Engineering and Data Center Management
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in an IT-related field (preferred)
- Candidate must have at least four years' experience with HPE 3PAR, HP3, StoreOne, and VMWare
- At least three years of experience managing teams of at least 10 people
- Ten years of experience with Systems/Network Engineering
- Strong leadership background / skills
- Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates
- Understands INSCOM, DoD, DA, DIA, NSA data policies and regulations (preferred)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- DoD IAT Level III certifications in one of the following: CCNP, CCSP, Security+
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
