Position:  Business Analyst

Duration: 6 -Months Approx

Location : Austin - TX

 Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst 3 to support complex systems analysis, requirements development, business process mapping, and solution planning. This position requires a senior-level professional capable of working independently, exercising judgment, and serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.

·         The Business Analyst will evaluate business systems, identify improvement opportunities, support software development lifecycle activities, conduct testing efforts, prepare business documentation, and ensure solutions align with organizational goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

·         Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.

·         Perform business process reengineering and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

·         Conduct business process mapping and apply industry-standard analysis methodologies.

·         Document detailed business requirements, user needs, and functional specifications.

·         Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and financial analysis (ROI, cost/benefit, buy/build recommendations).

·         Participate in software development reviews and collaborate with IT teams (Architecture, Delivery, Application Sustain).

·         Serve as a liaison between Business units and IT organizations.

·         Conduct/participate in unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

·         Support project planning activities and contribute to project management tasks.

·         Analyze raw data for insights and support data-driven decision-making.

·         Provide clear and effective communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·         Plan and organize workload to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments effectively.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
