Engineering Technical Specialist (Technical Integration)

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Flammability Centre of Excellence organization is looking for an Engineering Technical Integration Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the team in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads development, documentation, implementation and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes and standards
  • Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes, tools and integration of engineering designs
  • Ensures regulatory requirements are met.
  • Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
  • Provides configuration management, coordination of changes, assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs
  • Represents Company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use
  • Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
  • Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5 + years of experience in leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools & processes
  • 5 + years of experience in building project plans and communicating with multiple levels of engineering leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning and executing staffing and employee development strategies
  • 3+ years of experience in building positive relationships with business partners, human resources and internal recruiting/staffing teams and candidates
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary Pay Range Experienced (level 3): $90,100 - $121,900

Summary Pay Range Senior (level 4): $108,000 - $147,200
