Position: Project Manager 3 - Agile/Scrum

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - 2 days onsite weekly)

Duration: 12+ months with Possible Extension

Interview: Onsite or MS Teams (photo verification required)

Position Summary

The Project Manager 3 will lead Agile software development teams and support complex, enterprise-level financial or debt management technology initiatives. This role ensures effective implementation of Agile/Scrum practices, drives continuous improvement, enhances delivery predictability, and facilitates collaboration across multiple technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them in applying Agile best practices.
  • Manage planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level software development projects.
  • Support scaled Agile programs and coordinate between Agile and non-Agile teams.
  • Remove impediments, manage risks, and resolve cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Partner with engineering, QA, product management, architecture, compliance, and operations to support successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Promote continuous improvement and delivery forecasting across teams.
  • Provide clarity in communication, documentation, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain strong governance, alignment, and compliance with project management methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Proven experience supporting complex enterprise-level financial or debt management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, delivery forecasting, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and remove impediments, facilitate dependencies, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience leading multiple Agile teams or supporting scaled Agile program environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with required onsite presence in Lansing, MI.
