SAS Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer

$55 - $70 hourly

    Job Description

    Kforce has a client in Piscataway, NJ that is seeking a SAS Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer.

    * In this role, the SAS Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer will be integrating and managing the data mappings from the client's data sources to the SAS Enterprise Data Warehouse (Oracle)
    * Develop new data loads to existing data warehouse
    * The SAS Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer will lead and/or actively participate in SAS knowledge-sharing activities

    * 6+ years of SAS programming and ETL development experience
    * Strong experience with SQL Server databases
    * Strong SQL and analytical skills
    * Industry experience in the data warehouse arena including experience in data warehouse methodologies, including data management, data integration and analytics system architecture
    * Proficient with Linux/Unix shell scripting
    * Understanding of data quality and data profiling
    * Must be able to build and maintain SAS DI Studio jobs, job flows within Platform LSF, and troubleshoot job failures
    * Must be able to perform both production support role as well as new development tasks
    * Data Modeling, Data Architecting and ETL architecting expertise is required

    Desired Experience:
    * Medicare Claims data processing experience
    * Health care industry domain experience
    * Understanding of claim handling processes, concepts, and industry trends
    * Understanding of Agile and the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
    * Deep experience doing reporting with healthcare claims and eligibility data
    * Knowledge of common acronyms associated with Medicaid and healthcare (FPL, MCO, HMO, managed care, etc.)
    * Relevant experience in the Healthcare industry preferred (commercial or government)

    The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
