Position Overview

Oracle Sparc/Solaris Admin

Requirements:

• Solaris OS 9, 10, 11 Administration and Troubleshooting
• Firmware/Hardware upgrades, patching and SW package installations
• SVM volume manager & ZFS file system.
• LDOM Creation and Troubleshooting of LDOM related issues
• Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Solaris zone & container.
• Solaris patch Install and upgrade
• Experienced in backup and restoration of UFS & ZFS file system.
• Managing various RAID Levels Using SVM, ZFS mirror and Hardware Raid.
• Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle SAN & NAS Storage.
• Experience in Storage Administration & troubleshooting.
• Experience in SAN switches configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in backup and restore processes at Solaris host level
• Monitoring support logs and opening support tickets with OEMs
• Performance monitoring
• Good communication skill, ability to adopt emerging technology, team management, analytical capability, good written and verbal communication with customers & OEMs
