This role will provide Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) capabilities to NASA/Johnson Space Center in support of the EVA Development Project Office of the EVA and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP).
This is position is hybrid position located at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead a small team of RIV systems engineers, delegate work, coordinate products, and report on RIV tasks to DE management.
- Lead Exploration EVA Systems (xEVAS) Data Requirements Deliverables (DRD) reviews that relate to concept of operations, requirements, interfaces, verifications, architecture, and design.
- Maintain and update xEVAS requirements and adjudicate requirements with xEVAS providers.
- Track requirements and verifications via dedicated databases.
- Track EVA standards; identify, coordinate, and schedule updates of standards.
- Track actions and risks related to EVA Development RIV in conjunction with the SE&I Manager and Artemis EVA Insight Lead.
- Work with EHP SE&I on interface requirements.
- Work with EVA Development Project Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) teams on their RIV needs.
- Coordinate review of Change Requests (CRs) with applicability to xEVAS or EVA GFE projects.
- Coordinate xEVAS verification reviews, including Verification and Validation (V&V) plan reviews.
- Review provider's verification events and closure notices to ensure the EVA hardware design meets functional requirements.

What You Need to be Successful
Project Leader
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science
- 8 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including experience in systems engineering
- Knowledge and understanding of the NASA program life cycle and system engineering processes
- Ability to effectively utilize oral and written communication to express technical concepts and recommendations to personnel at all technical and managerial levels
- Ability to work effectively and quickly in real-time environments of rapid change, conflicting requirements, and occasional pressure
- Innovation, creativity, and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
Senior Project Leader
Minimum Requirements:
- 12 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including experience in systems engineering
- Same requirements as above
How You Can Stand Out

- Knowledge of EVA systems and current technology
- Experience with requirements development of NASA spacecraft systems
- Experience with DOORS/DNG or similar requirements and verification tool
