Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect (Certified)
Location - Alpharetta. GA (Locals)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Google Cloud Certified Architect to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, and scalable cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture and experience in leading enterprise-grade cloud transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end architecture on Google Cloud Platform, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, development, and data teams to implement best practices.
- Migrate on-premise applications and infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements aligned with Google Cloud Platform best practices.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain documentation of architecture and operational procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, VPC, IAM, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager).
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance.
- Experience in cloud-native application design, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Cloud Build).
- Experience with data engineering pipelines or ML workloads on Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
