Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager (Mergers & Acquisitions) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will act as an advisor to leadership, serving as an integrator across business, technology, regulatory, and transaction constraints. The successful candidate will manage all technology aspects of merger, acquisition, or divestiture projects, leading large-scale technology separation or integration efforts.
Responsibilities: - Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence the success of programs, project performance, and prioritization
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring a full understanding of project impacts
- Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that require planning, financial management, status reporting, and ongoing risk assessment
- Engage with key stakeholders, executive leadership, and project teams to promote the success of programs
- Translate diligence findings into integration plans, risk mitigation strategies, and cost and timeline impacts
- Identify and manage key cross-functional dependencies
- Produce clear, leadership-ready reports and communications, converting technical complexity into business impacts
Requirements: - 7+ years of Project Management, Methodologies, and Strategic Planning experience
- Proven experience managing mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
- 10+ years leading large application development efforts
- 10+ years leading large enterprise infrastructure efforts
- 10+ years leading large cross-functional technology integration/separation workstreams
- 5+ years of managing projects in an AGILE environment
- Proven success delivering large, cross-functional initiatives in a scaled Agile environment
- Experience managing projects at a large financial institution or in a highly regulated environment
- Strong Risk and Issue Identification and Management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, M365, SharePoint, and JIRA
Pay range: $58.75 - $66.75 per hour
