Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing real estate market data such as transactional data, property data, and economic indicators.
- Developing and maintaining predictive models and algorithms to forecast real estate market trends and investment opportunities using techniques such as descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis.
- Designing and building machine learning pipelines to automate data processing and analysis.
- Conducting research on new machine learning techniques and data science best practices to improve models and algorithms.
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy and troubleshooting data issues as they arise.
- Developing and implementing data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive real estate investment data.
- Leading projects related to data science and machine learning for real estate investment.
- Communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders and staying up to date with emerging data technologies and tools in the real estate industry.
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy and troubleshooting data issues as they arise.
- Writing and maintaining documentation for data processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment data analysis, with a focus on predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Java.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Domo.
- Expertise in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry and investment principles is a plus.
