Job Details

Analysts for Veeva Vault implementations help guide our clients in the configuration and deployment of Veeva s cloud-based solutions, ensuring successful outcomes for any and all aspects of the project. A successful analyst should be well-versed in translating design documents into functional specifications, mapping business processes for technical solutions, and documenting business requirements for the core application, system integrations, and legacy data/document migrations. The analyst is a key role on the project, serving as a trusted partner with the client business team while liaising with the technical delivery competency and Veeva Professional Services.


Objectives of this Role

  • Drive identification and documentation of requirements across business functions and document business systems processes through evaluation of current state and desired future state processes

  • Support Validation deliverables, testing execution, and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation

  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking system configurations that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

  • Create and implement precise communication and change management plans, with attention to transparent communication at all levels

  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development


Responsibilities

  • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business functions to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with project, managerial, and executive teams

  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain business processes, to all appropriate stakeholders

  • Author and update documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and SDLC documentation for a GxP system

  • Liaise with the client s business, technical, project management, and validation/quality units as well as Veeva Professional Services to help ensure the successful configuration of Veeva Vault in accordance with the client System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

    • Support the development of System Training for end users

    • Support the development of user and functional specifications, process maps

    • Support testing for User Acceptance

    • Review and provide feedback on project validation documents

  • Support efforts to analyze and update affected procedural documents (SOP, Work Instruction, Job Aids, etc.) in support of the implementation of Veeva Vault Clinical


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity

  • Experience with Veeva Vault Clinical configuration, implementation

    • Experience with Study Startup (including Feasibility) and Site Connect preferred

  • Working knowledge of Clinical Operations for Life Sciences companies

  • Proven development of cloud-based solutions

  • Strong analytical abilities

  • Highly proficient technical writing capabilities

  • Knowledgeable of SDLC and the delivery of GxP Validated systems

  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports

  • Proven capabilities in project and user-acceptance-testing (UAT) management

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio


Project-Specific Considerations

  • Work will predominantly be performed remotely on ET time - may have to be on site minimally for workshops, etc., in NY/NJ area

  • Project phase is reaching configuration lock for Vault Clinical Study Startup (SSU) and Site Connect

    • Validation workstream and deployment will continue through the end of 2025

  • Next project phase will focus on enhancements and the expansion of SSU for Feasibility functionality

    • Kick off in 3Q2025 and will extend through 2Q2026
