Title:Product Development Associate
Duration: 12 months
Location:New Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $35-40/hr on w2
Job Description:
**This is a Lab Facing role. Therefore while it is a Hybrid role candidate schedule will flex based on needs of the business
We are currently seeking a Process Development Associate/ Scientist to join Client Biologics Development group in New Brunswick, NJ. PD Associate will have the opportunity to drive state-of-art innovation and development in cell line and upstream process development areas.
Key responsibilities:
o Focus on cell line and upstream process development.
o Transient protein production for rapid material generation to support early discovery and process development teams.
o Responsible for study design, execution, data review and analysis, document writing, presentations. Will generate and document results in electronic notebook.
o Transient protein production for rapid material generation to support early discovery and process development teams.
Key Requirements:
o M.S (or PhD) in chemistry, chemical engineering, bioinformatics, data science, pharmacy, biology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, biophysics)
o Typically 2-4 years' experience in biopharmaceutical cell line/ upstream process development
o Strong knowledge and experience of mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique.
o Experience with transfection (DNA, mRNA), bioreactor set up and execution.
o Must have good oral/written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment
o All candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship needs
Preferred experience:
Experience with high throughput assays (e.g., Octet, flow cytometry)
Experience with bioinformatics and statistical analysis.
Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
