Job Summary:
The Integration Analyst is responsible for assisting the Integration Team on mission critical Integrations while ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all applicable system integrations, as well as assisting in the development of new integrations to facilitate company growth. The Integration Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of technology investments.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors all Boomi process and integrations.
- Assists in the development of processes for automation
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge of integration development using Dell Boomi, AWS, IFS, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Independently takes on tasks within multiple projects simultaneously, while documenting tasks and progress.
- Configures information systems within company standards and ensures all monitoring and management components are in place.
- Conducts research to resolve systems issues. Documents and develops courses of action for problem resolutions.
- Troubleshoots performance issues, investigate alarms as needed, and manages escalations.
- Acts as liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for integration resolution.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Works with Integration Manager or Developer to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Supports enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
- Works with other IT teams to design and build integrations.
Operational Management
- Gauges the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Proposes and creates system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to integration analyst and development teams.
- Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and logging.
- Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
- Monitors and tests system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
- Provides orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field or equivalent working experience
- 2-4 year s integration experience
- Boomi Associate Developer certification
- Proven experience in maintaining and supporting business integrations and processes.
- General knowledge or experience with programming languages (Java, SQL, JavaScript)
- General knowledge or experience with networking protocols (FTP/sFTP, AS2, API)
- General knowledge or experience with data formats (Flat, XML, X12, JSON)
- Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
- Excellent understanding of the organization s goals and objectives.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions: Remote work from home
- To successfully work from home, an employee must have access to reliable internet and a space that is free from excessive noise or distraction.
- On-call availability
- Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
