JOB DESCRIPTION
WWMT/ARC West Michigan is seeking a director for our newscasts. You should have experience directing fast-paced newscasts with graphics, video animations, and live shots. This person should also have knowledge of production standards and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Perform any production duties as assigned including:
- Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Maintain production studio and control room
Requirements:
- Experience Directing and TDing newscasts
- Knowledge of production standards and equipment
- Ability to clearly communicate with crew, talent and producer during live broadcast
- College degree in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of iNews, Xpression and Ross switchers a plus
- Possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and have a good visual sense
- Flexibility with schedule also preferred
