Multiple Senior HVAC Project Managers

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking multiple openings for a Project Manager & Senior Project Manager. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-7:00 PM. This position will travel to offices and job sites as needed.

Summary:
We are seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead HVAC, plumbing, and process-related projects. These roles involve developing and maintaining client relationships, managing sales, and overseeing field labor in collaboration with field leadership. Strong judgment, autonomy, and commitment to organizational goals are essential. This is an opportunity to manage complex projects, drive results, and mentor future leaders while ensuring successful delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams
* Manage all aspects of project execution: estimating, proposals, meetings, contracts, procurement, and installation sequencing
* Forecast budgets, control costs, and handle billing
* Lead client meetings, finalize contracts, and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
* Coordinate efforts across engineering, purchasing, accounting, construction, and service teams
* Mentor project engineers and coordinators; Support recruiting and training initiatives
* Complete special assignments as directed by leadership
* Lead mechanical projects end-to-end (design, budgeting, execution, delivery)
* Partner with clients and field teams to drive results
* Manage financials, schedules, and team coordination
* Work on cutting-edge facilities across the Bay Area

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 10+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects ($50K-$100M+)
* High integrity and professionalism
* Proven ability to develop new business
* Strong interpersonal and project management skills; Able to handle high-volume issues
* Ability to work independently and meet goals
* Active presence in industry or community organizations

Physical Requirements:
* Lift/move up to 10 lbs. frequently; 25 lbs. occasionally
* Close and distance vision required
* Regularly talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands
* Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during site walks
* Valid Class -C- driver's license; Ability to travel
* Regular attendance required

Current Priority:
* Immediate need for PMs and Sr. PMs in Pleasanton with strong HVAC backgrounds
* Client-facing roles: sales, estimating, bidding, project delivery, team management, and pipeline maintenance
* Primarily office-based with site visits as needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
