    Akkodis is seeking a Firmware Test Engineer for a contract onsite position with a client located in Spring, Tx/ onsite

    Pay Range: $30/hr

    Responsibilities
  • Support FW Engineering team for field issue reproduction and validation
  • Troubleshooting of reported issues, including general triage & debug
  • Coordination with key stakeholders from development teams, architects and test engineers for resolution of open issues
  • Work with architects on new proof-of-concept feature setup and validation execution
  • Collection of debug logs, analyzer logs including Logic Analyzer, USB Analyzer, PD Analyzer, and DP Aux Analyzer
  • Provide weekly status reports for reported issues and progress and validation progress report for proof-Of-Concepts features to distribute to relevant stakeholders
    1. and Skills:
  • Computer Engineering/EE/Computer science degree
  • Able to work independently with minimal instructions
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly proficient with Windows 10 & 11
  • Experience working well with partners, internal and external.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • USB/USB-C related knowledge
  • Experienced with Docking Technologies
  • Experienced with PD (Power Delivery) protocol
  • Experienced with DisplayPort protocol
  • Experienced with Debug tools
  • Logic analyzer (Saleae)
  • USB analyzer
  • PD analyzer
  • DP aux analyzer
  • Strong Collaboration and communication skills
