Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PhD Candidate with a specialization in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and a deep focus on AI/ML applications in future wireless networks (5G/6G, Open RAN). This role involves both cutting-edge research and practical deployment of AI xApps/frameworks to enhance network performance and automation.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D. Candidate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or Wireless.
- 5G RAN design, network slicing, spectrum management, Open RAN etc.
- AI/ML: Supervised/Unsupervised Learning
- Technical Proficiency - Wireless: Experience with wireless networking tools like Pathloss, Atoll, and RIC for network planning and optimization. Familiarity with 5G NR-NTN and related testing/optimization processes.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling, along with experience in SQL. Skilled in using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
