Senior .NET Engineer / Hybrid / Chicago Loop

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing and developing robust backend services and modern front-end applications that power our product content platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using modern technologies and best practices. What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using C# and .NET 6+ in a microservices-based architecture.
• Build and enhance web applications using .NET MVC and Angular.
• Work with storage and caching systems such as MongoDB, SQL Server, and Redis.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor applications using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Integrate observability and analytics tools like Elasticsearch and Kibana to ensure system health and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers in an Agile environment.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to improve our systems and development processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET 6+, and .NET MVC.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, especially Angular.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based architecture.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, SQL Server, and Redis.
• Experience deploying and managing services on Azure, using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and search tools like Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

The Offer

• 6 Month W2 Contract-To-Hire
• $55-68/hr
