Description:
**100% Remote**
Prominent insurance brokerage firm seeking a Production Support Manager to lead a support team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end support for our software applications in production environments.
Monitor production systems and ensure availability and optimum performance.
Ensuring stability, reliability, performance of our software systems.
Lead and manage team of production support engineers providing technical guidance.
Establish and maintain effective incident, problem and change management processes.
Maintain detailed documentation on production support procedures and playbooks.
Acquire and/or develop and implement tooling to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure team leads process for critical incidents, overseeing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments of software solutions and minimizing production outages
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system health, incident progress and long-term improvements.
Stay up to date on industry best practices, emerging technologies and support methodologies.
Experience Requirements:
Strong understanding of ITIL practices and principles.
Proficient in monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines great communication skills
Ability bring structure/process to team while maintaining comradery
Bonus Knowledge: Datadog, Azure, Okta, ServiceNow
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
