Job Title: Costa Rica Sr. Payroll Analyst

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

What you get to do in this role:

  • Perform payroll duties including but not limited to; Time & Attendance, Payroll processor for Costa Rica payroll and assist with additional Americas payrolls (US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil), Fidelity management of Deferred Comp and ESPP, Customer Service and Support using our ticketing system, back-up and support as necessary, to the Payroll Manager.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • Solid knowledge of local taxation and regulations in Costa Rica
  • Demonstrated senior level payroll technical skills in a variety of areas including, payroll processing, reporting, account reconciliations, stock reporting, and performance of SOX controls
  • Experience with preparing input to provide to payroll vendor
  • Knowledge or experience in the following platforms; ADP, Workday, Fidelity, ServiceNow, EY, Excel, JPMorgan, Citibank and proficiency in learning new systems as required.
  • Process timely payroll for the Americas accurately and in compliance with USGAAP, government regulations and SOX requirements.
  • Experience with ADP Vantage US, ADP WFN Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil payrolls are strongly preferred.
  • Perform file uploads/interfaces between ADP/Workday/Fidelity/In Country Provider
  • Support internal and external payroll inquiries as necessary by performing the necessary research and responding appropriately via Ticketing platform.
  • Knowledge and ability to support multi-state taxation, various required payroll tax filings.
  • Assist with the audit requests from the SOX and Internal Audit Team.
  • Effectively support external departments to ensure proper payroll processing of external items such as, but not limited to, Onboard/Offboarding, Benefits, Commissions, Compensation, Stock.
