The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do:
- Lead the design, development, and maintaining of flight-critical embedded display software for military avionics displays supporting programs such as E-2D, KC-135, AWACS, C-130, and beyond.
- Identify the root cause of moderate to complex software issues using appropriate debug and analysis tools.
- Clearly summarize encountered technical software issues to project leadership in a timely fashion.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight from manager.
- Expand your knowledge base on various software and system components to be able to support potential software development tasks.
- Assist an engineering team by organizing tasks, coordinating team efforts, asking questions, communicating status, raising issues, brainstorming ideas, helping others, practicing active listening, and promoting a collaborative environment.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Current or previous experience within Avionics (development or usage).
- Experience with software development or testing experience.
- Up to 10% of travel both domestic and global as needed.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- ADA language experience
- MATLAB Simulink experience (Model Based Development)
- Collins Aerospace's Flight2 experience.
- AGILE development experience.
- DO-178 (or similar) certification-based development experience.
- Excellent, proactive, communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
