Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master - Lead Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Description:

Seeking an Agile Scrum Master - Lead Consultant

Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and principles
  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress
  • Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key performance indicators
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
  • Ensure clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholder
  • Administer Agile tools such as Agility

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms specifically AWS
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Highly motivated and technically proficient Scrum Master
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, hands-on experience with software development processes, and the ability to facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record as a Scrum Master leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS
  • Prior experience in software development, QA, DevOps, or systems engineering
  • Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand technical challenges
  • Experience with cloud platforms specifically AWS
  • Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile principles
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status clearly

Desired skills:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
  • SAFe Scrum Master or other scaled Agile certifications
  • Understanding and focus on business outcomes
  • Strong teamwork skills
