QA Automation Lead with CMS (Sitecore)

We are seeking a QA Automation Lead with extensive experience in automation testing and expertise in CMS platforms, particularly Sitecore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, defining test strategies, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy

   • Lead a team of QA engineers in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
   • Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for CMS-based projects, focusing on Sitecore.
   • Mentor and guide the QA team to adopt best practices in automation testing.

2. Automation & Testing

   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
   • Ensure the automation framework is scalable, maintainable, and integrates seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
   • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality test scripts.

3. CMS & Sitecore Expertise

   • Collaborate with the development team to understand the Sitecore architecture and integration points.
   • Test Sitecore components, templates, workflows, and custom modules for functionality, performance, and security.
   • Identify and resolve issues related to content management, personalization, and site performance.

4. Quality Assurance

   • Establish and maintain QA metrics, reporting dashboards, and KPIs to monitor quality throughout the development lifecycle.
   • Perform root cause analysis on critical issues and recommend process improvements.
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.

5. Collaboration & Communication

   • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality aligns with business requirements.
   • Facilitate defect triage meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in QA Automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore or other CMS platforms.
• Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or a similar language.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sitecore Developer/Administrator Certification.
• Experience in testing Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) features like personalization, analytics, and marketing automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools like Jira.
