Job Description:
We are looking for an SQL DBA with experience supporting databases in the banking/financial domain. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
- Ensure data security, compliance, and access control
- Support banking applications and work with cross-functional teams
- Implement patches, upgrades, and regular maintenance activities
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server (Administration & Performance Tuning)
- Experience in high-availability solutions (AlwaysOn, Clustering, Replication)
- Understanding of banking domain data workflows and compliance
- Good knowledge of backup/restore strategies and monitoring tools
