Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in LaPorte, Texas. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and support for our IT systems. As part of a close-knit IT department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various technical tasks and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and improving our Microsoft-based environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 applications and services to ensure optimal functionality.
Assist with configuration, setup, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripheral devices.
Support Active Directory administration, including account setups, permissions, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with team members to address IT-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
Implement and oversee backup solutions to safeguard data integrity.
Provide technical assistance for Apple and Android devices used within the organization.
Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and systems.
Monitor and resolve issues related to Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Participate in project initiatives, contributing technical expertise and ensuring successful outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and Active Directory administration.
Familiarity with desktop hardware, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with backup technologies and their implementation.
Knowledge of Apple and Android devices, including technical support.
Understanding of Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small IT team.
