A top Fortune 50 financial institution is seeking a PAM Technology Product Analystto support the privileged access management (PAM) program. This role will capture and manage PAM requirements, work with engineering and stakeholders to implement CyberArk/JIT controls, and support compliance, risk reduction, and program reporting.

Responsibilities:
The PAM Technology Product Analyst will be responsible for:




  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, non-functional, and data requirements through interviews, workshops, use cases, and tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).




  • Capturing PAM/JIT control requirements with end users to ensure appropriate privileged access controls and maintaining exception/issue logs.




  • Submitting and tracking Risk Assessments and coordinating with engineers to implement solutions.




  • Meeting with application teams to define onboarding use cases for CyberArk and other PAM platforms; collaborating with stakeholders to design efficient PAM solutions that reduce administration overhead.




  • Supporting audit requests and assembling evidence packages for compliance with internal policies and standards.




  • Reviewing and assigning vulnerability tickets to mitigate security risks.




  • Assisting with Agile/SAFe processes, ensuring quarterly PAM objectives are met within the Mission Padlock program.




  • Generating and maintaining program metrics and reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly).




  • Eliciting, researching, and documenting requirements using process modeling, diagramming, use case analysis, data analysis, journey mapping, and prototyping.




  • Facilitating requirements discussions, presenting requirements and alternative views, and incorporating stakeholder feedback into the product backlog.




  • Collaborating with vendors on design, development, and delivery of PAM/IAM products and platforms.




  • Evaluating alternative solutions, identifying risks/issues, and working with project/product teams to mitigate.




  • Communicating timely, concise information to internal and external stakeholders.




  • Managing multiple priorities independently and in team settings.




Qualifications:




  • Experience: 8+ years as an IAM Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Development Analyst, Business Technology Analyst, or related role.




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.




  • Strong experience with PAM/IAM systems such as CyberArk and Saviynt.




  • Solid understanding of identity lifecycle events (provisioning, authentication, password resets, self-service workflows) and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2/OIDC).




  • Strong knowledge of data schemas and data integration techniques for IAM tools (LDAP, relational databases, HR/KYC sources).




  • Experience applying Agile/SAFe methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to deliver product capabilities.




  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps.




  • Effective planning, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize multiple large, complex efforts.




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.




  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.




Desired Skills:




  • SAFe Agilist, Product Owner/Product Manager, Scrum Master, or Lean Portfolio Management certification.




  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), DevOps, Microsoft Azure, or similar IT certifications.




  • Experience with Financial Services industry applications, systems, standards, and trends.




  • Prior experience with CyberArk implementations and integration patterns.





Requirements Delivery




  • Capture detailed stakeholder use cases, system requirements, and process flows for IAM/PAM components focusing on identity lifecycle events (provisioning, authentication, password resets, self-service).




Technical Systems Analysis




  • Produce a Database Schema Analysis Report documenting current LDAP directory schemas (e.g., OpenDJ) and relational (SQL) structures used in identity data sources (HR, KYC).




  • Provide optimization recommendations (indexing strategies, normalization, configuration tuning) to improve performance and maintain structure integrity.




Systems Documentation: Mapping, Reporting, Diagramming




  • Create IAM process flow diagrams for provisioning, authentication (SAML, OAuth2/OIDC), self-service, and integrations. Diagrams should show decision points, exception pathways, and error handling.




Technical Design Specifications




  • Deliver a consolidated architecture blueprint: data flows, attribute mappings, authentication protocols, and system interfaces.




Runbooks and Deployment Guides




  • Produce step-by-step operational runbooks and deployment guides covering installation, directory configuration, policy agents, certificate management, rollback procedures, and daily maintenance tasks.
