Job Description:
- The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for administrative, coaching, and leadership functions that enable Scrum development and delivery.
- This role requires guiding Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, coaching on Scrum maturity, and ensuring smooth product delivery.
- The PM will act as a servant leader, remove impediments, foster collaboration, and drive Agile adoption across the team and organization.
- Guide teams and organization on Agile/Scrum practices to maximize customer value.
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and support the implementation of multiple small to medium systems or products.
- Coach teams on self-organization and fill gaps left intentionally in Agile frameworks.
- Assess Scrum maturity of teams and guide them toward higher levels sustainably.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Shield the team from interruptions and proactively remove impediments affecting delivery.
- Build a trusting, safe environment emphasizing problem-solving and accountability.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Improve transparency and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and educate Product Owners on backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Lead by example using a servant leadership approach.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT-focused discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience implementing Agile methodologies.
- Experience working on Data projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and experience with AWS Cloud and Big Data technologies.
- Experience managing large Big Data projects (teams of 25 30 members).
- Business analysis skills.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent.
- Experience with small-sized Agile implementations (1 5 teams).
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Finance experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to partner with Product Owners/business partners to co-create value and communicate across all stakeholder levels.
- Strong facilitation and coaching abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing Agile environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (mandatory).
- 3+ years of experience in Agile project management.
- Certification in Agile/Scrum (preferred).
