Regional Security
The Regional Security Director will serve as the primary security leader overseeing comprehensive operations across corporate headquarters, business centers, and client-facing facilities throughout the assigned region. This strategic role requires developing and implementing security protocols to mitigate threats while serving as the critical liaison between Global Security and regional site leadership, collaborating with facility managers, HR, legal, compliance, and executives to integrate security into all business operations. The position includes leading security for major corporate events, conducting regular site assessments across assigned region with overnight travel as needed, and directly contributing to TIAA's mission of protecting employees, clients, and assets while maintaining our trusted position in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate follow-up investigations and risk mitigation with GCS business management, corporate partners, and law enforcement
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, key business partners, and management teams
- Participate in regional and site management meetings to maintain visibility and communication
- Coordinate mitigation plans for known or planned disruptive events targeting TIAA locations or occurring nearby
- Manage security officer operations at assigned sites
- Conduct periodic security reviews, risk assessments, and personal safety training at assigned locations
- Support technical security infrastructure projects at assigned sites
- Provide after-hours emergency incident response availability
- Travel occasionally to support corporate event security and executive protection as needed
