This is an onsite job in San Diego, CA and no relocation assistance is available.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work directly with client to create engineering specifications.
- Flow chart program logic and document system design.
- Work directly with database administrators and database analysts to develop and design database tables and store procedures.
- Debug system code, including code written by other programmers.
- Assist with mentoring programmers to achieve a higher level of competency.
- Continuously maintain knowledge of new software technologies is required.
- Provide support in deployment and configuration of software.
- Work closely with project manager(s) to manage timelines for projects.
- Research and resolve production issues in system.
Skills & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with C#.NET programming (Visual Studio 2005 or greater).
- 2+ years of experience with ASP/ASP.NET.
- Advanced- to expert-level skills with JavaScript, VB, VBScript, and HTML.
- Strong knowledge and experience with XML.
- Strong relational database and SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, etc.).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience leveraging Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools.
- Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience.
- Build automation experience.
- Flexible and team-oriented; must be able to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
