We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Civil Project Engineer, EIT, to join our fast-paced and rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will be integral in shaping the future of our organization, working on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential, and transportation sectors. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Civil Project Engineer, EIT, you will play a critical role in the design, planning, and execution of a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and overseeing construction projects, including commercial buildings, residential developments, and transportation infrastructure.
2. Utilizing Open Roads software for the design and planning of roadway projects.
3. Managing all aspects of drainage, paving, and other related tasks.
4. Collaborating with a team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
6. Preparing and presenting project proposals, reports, and findings to stakeholders.
7. Implementing and adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
8. Identifying potential project risks and developing contingency plans.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record of project management. Specific qualifications include:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil project engineering, with a focus on commercial, residential, and transportation projects.
4. Proficiency in Open Roads or equivalent software.
5. Experience with design-build projects.
6. In-depth knowledge of roadway, drainage, and paving processes.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
