RIS PACS Implementation Analyst (Remote, Contract)
Are you a highly skilled and detail-oriented RIS PACS Implementation Analyst? For this remote contract position, the ideal candidate will provide support and analysis for large-scale RIS PACS system implementations, ensuring smooth and successful rollouts. The role involves conducting workflow analysis, creating detailed documentation, and offering go-live support to end-users. The analyst will also work closely with radiology staff, radiologists, referring physicians, and other stakeholders to assess and improve workflows and procedures. This remote position will require some travel to client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and analysis for large-scale and rapid RIS PACS system implementations, ensuring successful deployment and integration.
- Conduct detailed workflow analysis to optimize existing processes and implement new RIS PACS applications.
- Create comprehensive documentation for the implementation process, including procedures, configurations, and system modifications.
- Review feedback from Radiology Staff, Radiologists, Referring Physicians, and other stakeholders; recommend and implement necessary changes to workflows and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of all activities during the implementation process, ensuring full documentation for auditing and compliance.
- Evaluate, test, and validate all modifications to systems, programs, and procedures, ensuring that changes meet functional requirements.
- Provide go-live elbow support to end-user staff, assist with troubleshooting, training, and ensuring smooth transition to new systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any post-implementation issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in RIS/PACS technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in system implementation analysis and support, specifically for large-scale RIS/PACS system rollouts.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with various Radiology platforms, including RIS and PACS.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with workflow analysis and system integration within healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to provide training and hands-on support during and after system implementations.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with RIS/PACS systems, preferably in an implementation or support role.
- Bachelor s degree in Healthcare IT, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare management systems is a plus.
