- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems: Prepares detailed design specifications from which programs will be written.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs documents and maintains application programs.
- Consults with users or other IT Professionals to resolve issues with programs. - Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines. Provides estimates for planned work.

Job Description:
- J2EE framework
- Groovy
- Apache Tomcat
- RDMS such as Oracle or SQL Server and integration of the database with Java applications
- Java IDE such as Eclipse, Intellij
- Webservice/API development (REST, SOAP); implementing SOA, ESB modules, web services and APIs
- Web based data formats (XML, JSON)
- Webservice testing tools (SoapUI, Postman)
- Writing JUnit tests
- Build and deployment tools (Concourse, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven)
- GitHub for version control
- Full Stack development experience, both front end development, and back-end integration side
- Application testing and coordinating test strategies with IT Quality Assurance teams
- Agile Agile methodology, software version control, and release management Knowledge of P&C insurance
