WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • The Sr. Infrastructure Manager will lead a project's entire lifecycle, including scoping, budgeting, implementation, and managing various aspects such as command and control, escalations, risk and issue handling, and time management .
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, coordinating deployment activities with Operations/Support teams, and defining requirements for new technology implementations while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between leadership, end-users, and the organization's technology vision, both in written and in-person interactions.
  • Manage the help-desk system to support users of all levels, overseeing external partnerships, and establishing and nurturing an Infrastructure IT team are also key responsibilities.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • 10+ years of experience within the Information Technology field, having a broad depth of knowledge in the areas of networking, storage, backup and restore technologies, virtualization and cloud technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience managing contracts with IT service vendors.
  • Strong leadership skillset in being able to present analytical solutions to the team and create interpersonal relationships.
  • Resourceful and strong organizational ability to manage a diverse range of interests and issues in completing appropriate facilities transactions
