Description
The Shopper Experience team is looking to bring on a Senior level person who can support day to day copywriting (mainly customer-facing, UX microcopy for product features and flows), but also approach thinks from a strategic mindset, and think about how they can continue to improve how they communicate with their customers across the app and site. They want someone who can operate at a Senior level, who is autonomous, that doesn't just wait for projects to be assignd to them, but is proactive and seeking out opportunities for content to make an impact. The leadership team really wants to elevate the presence and role of Content within the organization, so that exec leadership can continue seeing the value so they'll make additional investments. This person will work cross functionally with Product, Design, Marketing, etc. Will work with Marketing to understand what Albertsons brand voice/tone is, so that the content is consistent in that way. May also work with the eComm Fulfilment design leader for content needs that come up in her world, so really want someone who is flexible and excited to help grow Content at Albertsons. As a Content Strategist you'll be responsible for crafting all and any text that customers encounter. You'll work across all aspects of the product cycle, including user research, collaborative ideation, content strategy, content mapping, prototyping, and testing. Working with product designers to inform site mapping and content hierarchy in wireframes and prototyping for apps, websites, landing pages and more. Qualitative and quantitative content auditing and competitive assessments, Designing information architecture, navigation, user flows, and content matrix recommendations Devise and implement a UX content strategy that takes into consideration both the macro and micro content needs of our digital experience Recommend platforms and tools that allow for automated content creation for UX components that allows for copy efficiencies and standardization Partner with other writers to produce engaging, conversational copy that adheres to brand and copy guidelines Work with multi-disciplinary teams, partnering with product designers, engineering, and product management (among other stakeholders) to find solutions to deliver value to users Independently manage deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects Keep the end user in mind at all stages of the process

Someone who is a go-getter, thinks big picture, but can also do great work as an IC. Requirements 4+ years of experience working as a Content Strategist and/or information architect Strong understanding of experience principles and customer needs such as motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate them into engaging and actionable deliverables Excellent verbal and written skills to be able to communicate both technical and non-technical savvy audience members Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering solutions that meet project needs, timeframe Experience working across platforms and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and building full content strategy eco-systems across digital platforms Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure with little supervision Experience presenting to, and working with, cross-disciplinary teams Experience working in an agile and/or lean environment Has a startup mentality and is comfortable working in ambiguity Considering US locations only for this position and PT time zone requirements may apply in order to address team and business needs.
