Senior Golang Engineer

Location: Remote
Max rate: $75 per hour W2
Work hours: 9-5 EST
Position not able to support California CWs
Preliminary Video Reviews will be done
There will be technical questions, some situational/experience, possibly some live coding as well, please ensure candidates are prepared to screen share and use code editor.
What would a day in the life of this role look like?
Attending team scrum ceremonies, project meetings as needed, and working on Go microservices with responsibilities dedicated to credit risk and fraud
What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager?
Close level of interaction, working with daily
What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months? Get up to speed on our services, design patterns, and third-party vendors
What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role?
Meeting the team s current coding standards and understanding all of the variables and factors that go into acquisition around credit risk and fraud

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
Design and implement software which is to be written in the Go programming language. Write efficient, scalable and modular Go code. Have the knowledge of how to use the various Go frameworks. Understand how to create efficient and effective microservices.
Top 3-5 technical skills needed to be successful?
o 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
o Proficiency in Go programming and experience building scalable systems
o Experience with microservices and distributed systems
o Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
o Experience with agile development methodologies
