Senior Mobile Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client looking for a hands-on Senior Mobile Engineer to own and advance their endpoint management environment. This person will be the primary Engineer responsible for mobile device management (iOS/Android) in the near term and will increasingly focus on Windows endpoint engineering (app packaging, deployment, Autopilot) as the environment matures. This is a long-term multi-year contract role with right to hire FTE after 6 months.

Key Tasks:
* Serve as the Intune SME responsible for day-to-day administration and ongoing engineering improvements
* Own the mobile footprint within Intune (iOS/iPadOS and Android), acting as the primary/sole manager for mobile device management
* Lead discovery and assessment of the current endpoint/mobile environment and partner with stakeholders to define a rollout roadmap
* Design and implement Intune policies and configurations: Enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, and application deployment
* Security baselines and endpoint configuration standards (as applicable)
* Manage Windows device management via Intune, including Win32 app packaging and lifecycle management
* Application deployments and update strategies
* Device provisioning and onboarding with Windows Autopilot
* Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues related to enrollment, policy/application deployment, and device compliance
* Document standards, processes, and implementation decisions; contribute to sustainable operating procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Intune experience supporting both: Windows endpoints; Mobile devices (iOS/Android)
* Proven experience with Windows app packaging and deployments using Intune (Win32/app deployment concepts)
* Hands-on experience implementing/supporting Windows Autopilot
* Strong understanding of mobile device management concepts and practical administration within Intune
* Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership (this role may be the sole owner of mobile within Intune)
* Demonstrated ability to work through discovery, roadmap, hands-on implementation in an enterprise environment

Nice to Have:
* Apple device program experience (e.g., Apple Business Manager/ADE concepts)
* Experience integrating Intune with identity/security controls (e.g., Conditional Access/device compliance workflows)
* Background in regulated or enterprise environments (insurance/financial services is a plus)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
