Job Description
The Airworthiness Technical Lead will serve as a key member of the Air Mobility & Maritime Mission (AMMM) Airworthiness Team, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR) and US Government Airworthiness Requirements. The successful candidate will support business needs, drive innovation, and increase efficiencies within the Engineering & Technology organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
The Airworthiness Technical Lead will be responsible for the following:
Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and direction to team members, ensuring compliance with technical standards and best practices.
Airworthiness Management: Manage airworthiness artifacts and data requirements to support airworthiness cycles, technical planning, and prepare data artifacts such as:

Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience with the aircraft and project certification process is required, including familiarity with the Certification Basis (AWB-130) and Compliance Report (AWB-140) processes, as outlined in MIL-HDBK-516.
Additionally, this position is located at a facility that requires special access, and candidates must be eligible to obtain the necessary clearance and access.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
