Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Functional Consultant with strong S/4HANA TM experience to support STM's SAP Best Practice implementation

Title: SAP TM Consultant
Location: Remote (USA limits only)
Duration: Contract 6+ months and possibility for extension - This duration is subject to changes based on the project's requirement and/or the client's sole discretion.
Client: Aerospace & Defence Industry



Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions using Business-Driven Configuration Assessment (BDCA).
  • Plan and deliver Workshop A, including system demos and presentation materials.
  • Manage functional requirements, configuration, and documentation.
  • Prepare Key Decision Documents, functional specs, and process flows.

Configure SAP TM processes, including:

  • Freight Units & Freight Orders
  • Route Determination
  • Transportation Planning & Execution
  • Lead test planning for standard and custom TM objects.
  • Support Authorization, Security, and Change Management activities.
  • Drive reporting requirements and solution validation.

Integrations Required:

  • Experience with integrations involving:
  • ShipERP (small parcel shipping)
  • Carrier systems
  • EWM, GTS, and Dangerous Goods
  • External Warehouse/3PL Systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry
  • Offshore coordination experience

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of SAP TM experience
  • Strong S/4HANA Transportation and Advanced TM expertise
  • Hands-on configuration and functional design experience
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
