We are seeking multiple Senior-level IT Applications Programmers to support one of Cleveland's most respected employers. This is a high-impact, high-visibility consulting opportunity where you'll work across UI, backend, API, database, and cloud technologies. Candidate MUST reside in the United States.
This role is 100% remote.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience and a strong background in full stack development, application security, and problem solving in complex, large-scale IT environments.
What You'll Do
Analyze business and technical requirements for software solutions
Design, write, and modify code for complex programs, applications, and components
Perform development testing including unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
Create and maintain clear and thorough technical documentation
Research complex technical issues and recommend actionable solutions
Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver stable, secure, high-performing software
Required Skills

SQL AE and Database Security
SQL AE experience
Comfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)
Ability to assess and remediate schemas for encryption compatibility
Application Security
Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10
Strong secure coding practices
Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
Encryption Experience
Hands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption
Familiarity with enterprise key management tools and integrations
Data-Driven Inquiry
Able to analyze data and ask meaningful, insight-driven questions
Brings hypotheses and findings to guide team decisions
Leads investigations to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
Collaboration & Communication
Works effectively with cross-functional teams such as security, architecture, and infrastructure
Communicates complex technical findings clearly to non-technical partners
Curiosity-Driven Problem Solving
Thrives in environments with ambiguity or limited documentation
Comfortable making progress with partial information
