National Grid is hiring a Senior Engineer for our Project Engineering department in MA. This hybrid position can be based in Waltham, Worcester or Northboro, MA.

Our Team

Our team is responsible for supporting and driving growth in nationally recognized energy efficiency and decarbonization programs, as well as other emerging areas of focus.

What You'll Do

  • Certify the accuracy of energy efficiency gross savings calculations
  • Support program managers with engineering advice and guidance on the administration of energy efficiency measures
  • Ensure that the savings calculations are updated due to changes to evaluation studies or Technical Reference Manual (TRM) updates
  • Provide Quality Assurance (QA) of vendor serviced energy efficiency programs
  • Assist the technical sales support team in the development and certification of custom energy efficiency savings tools

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 4+ years of professional engineering experience working in the energy efficiency field and/or quantifying energy savings required
  • 2+ years of experience with energy efficiency of Large Commercial & Industrial (LCI) and/or residential and multifamily programs required
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and/or Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification preferred
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, ability to perform presentations and attention to detail are important for success.
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary

$117,000 - $135,000 a year
