Join the Host Engineering team as a Principal Systems Engineer - Mainframe. This team is responsible for playing a key role in supporting enterprise system software that runs our mainframe platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead system software upgrades
• Primarily responsible for CICS Transaction Server and related products (perform upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting and administration tasks)
• Serve as Engineer for other system software products (i.e., CA-Broadcom products, such as OPS/MVS Automation, CA View/Deliver, CA Sysview, etc.)
• Work with RACF Security Engineer to secure assigned software products
• Assist with overall system performance monitoring/tuning
• Assist application teams with problem resolution

• Bachelor?s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Engineer
• 6+ years of experience configuring/administrating and supporting CICS Transaction Server
• 6+ years of experience using IBM SMP/E to install and upgrade IBM and ISV products in a z/OS environment
• 6+ years of experience with IBM z/OS, JCL, and Utilities
• Ability to perform IBM ServerPac or z/OSMF upgrades of major subsystems in a z/OS environment

• Installation and customization experience with Broadcom-CA products, such as OPS/MVS Automation, CA Gen, CA View/Deliver, CA DADS, etc.
• Experience supporting MacKinney products such as Xray, Track, Batch to CICS, etc.
• Experience supporting ASG/Rocket TMON
• Detailed understanding of RACF security and certificates
• Experience supporting DB2 system needs (memory management, performance monitoring/tuning, etc.)
• Ability to perform dump analysis
• Knowledge in Assembler, CLIST and/or REXX
