Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide end-user support and perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose) tasks efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with end-user hardware and software support.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user IT issues related to PCs (desktops, laptops, tablets), mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose) activities for end-user computing devices and software.
  • Provide or oversee all installations, de-installations, cascades, moves, adds, and changes for all EUC (End User Computing) equipment, software, and related services at designated customer sites.
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule IMACD activities with all affected IT functions and third parties to ensure minimal operational disruption.
  • Create and document processes to enable efficient IMACD execution for each software and/or equipment component.
  • Obtain and maintain approval lists for authorized personnel involved in IMACD and related service requests.
  • Validate IMACD service requests for correctness and authorization before execution.
  • Communicate and coordinate with users and customer representatives regarding scheduling and requirements.
  • Conduct or confirm site surveys to determine IMACD location(s) and any special requirements.
  • Ensure availability of all necessary equipment, software, network, and cabling before execution.
  • Confirm configuration and installation/de-installation procedures, including backup and test processes.
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians or third-party vendors to IMACD locations.
  • Provide VIP-level client support and maintain positive user engagement.
  • Cancel network transport services no longer required after IMACD completion.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
Skills:
  • Certifications: A+ Hardware, Microsoft (preferred), ITIL (preferred), CCNA (preferred).
  • Hardware Support: Desktops, laptops, tablets (Windows, Apple, Android), printers (network/desk), smartphones, desk phones, video conferencing devices (audio & video).
  • Tools: Windows OS, MS Office, O365, Mac OS (preferred).
  • Ticketing System: ServiceNow (IM, SRM, AMDB, CMDB, Knowledge Management).
