Job Details
We seek a seasoned Snowflake DBA to design, secure, and automate a large-scale, global Snowflake deployment. This person will drive SOX compliance, implement accessautomation pipelines, and help split the monolithic Snowflake account into regionspecific accounts to serve multiple countries and applications.
- Build and maintain automated workflows for user and role provisioning, deprovisioning, and access grants using SCIM, Terraform, and IAM integrations
- Design and apply internal controls (ITGC) aligned with SOX requirements using frameworks such as COBIT or NIST
- Experience: 5+ years as DBA; 3+ years managing enterprise-scale Snowflake with security focus.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake security best practices: RBAC, masking policies, managed access schemas, encryption, network policies, auditing features
- Hands-on with SCIM and SSO identity integration (Okta, Azure AD), Terraform or equivalent IaC for Snowflake provisioning
- Familiarity with SOX controls, audit processes (ITframeworks) and reporting needs.
- Skilled with SQL, scripting (Python, SnowSQL, Bash), and tool integration (Airflow, SIEM, monitoring tools).
