Job Details

This is a full time remote position covering SoCAL and the Sacramento area. Candidates must be located in and work Pacific time zone hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, architectural designs, deployments, and implementation services for multi-vendor solutions within data center environments.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer engineering teams for lab access, design validation, and solution support.
  • Evaluate customer environments and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in developing technical skills and solution expertise.
  • Create, refine, and enhance standardized assessment, delivery, and testing documentation to support repeatable, high-quality service delivery.
  • Meet regularly with key technology vendors to stay informed on new products and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain multiple advanced, vendor-specific certifications (e.g., VCP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in a related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience. Master s degree in a related technical field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Multiple industry-recognized certifications (e.g., VCP).
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies:
  • Compute Virtualization: vSphere/vCenter deployment experience required
  • Storage Virtualization: vSAN
  • Network Virtualization: NSX-T
  • Cloud & Containers: Aria Suite, VCF, OpenShift, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Automation, Programming & Scripting: Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and related tools
