Job Title: Appian Developer
Client: Health Location: Remote (EST / CST)
Duration: Long-term Contract

State / Federal client experience is a plus.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer to support critical application development initiatives for a major Health client. The developer will be involved in designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise workflow applications using Appian BPM platform.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and enhance Appian BPM applications including process models, SAIL interfaces, expression rules, CDTs, integrations, and smart services.
Work closely with product owners, business SMEs, and Client technical teams to translate requirements into Appian solutions.
Perform enhancements and upgrades to existing Appian applications and components.
Develop REST and Web Service Integrations with internal/external systems.
Optimize performance, troubleshoot application issues and support production releases.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and provide technical design documentation.
Ensure compliance with Health security, governance, and Health care development standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

10+ years overall IT experience.
3+ years hands-on Appian development in enterprise environments.
Experience with Appian 21.x / 22.x / 23.x or higher versions.
Experience with Appian Data Layer, Process Models, SAIL UI development, CDTs, and Record Types.
Hands-on experience developing Appian integrations (REST, JSON, Web Services, Integration objects).

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with Health agencies
Knowledge of Health care validation / compliance (GxP, CFR 21 Part 11 is a plus).
Knowledge of AWS cloud, PostgreSQL, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Appian Certifications are a strong plus.
