Job Details

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Network Cloud Engineer for a large agency Columbia, SC. In this role you will design, deploy, and secure large-scale cloud infrastructures in AWS and Azure. This is a hands-on role working with Product, Network, and Security teams to implement and manage secure, scalable environments.
Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain secure AWS/Azure infrastructure.

  • Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls (including VM-Series).

  • Partner with SecOps to support SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms.

  • Automate cloud security tools and build accelerators.

  • Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, CMMC, CUI, etc.

  • Implement Zero Trust cloud architectures.

  • Document security tools, configurations, and incidents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years working with firewalls in AWS and Azure.

  • 5+ years experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.

  • Strong cloud security design and automation skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

  • AWS or Azure certification required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prisma Cloud, Forescout, Cisco Umbrella, F5 experience.

  • CISSP, SC-100, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect, PCNSA, or PCNSE certifications.

  • Experience supporting state or local government clients.
