Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Ensuring projects are completed within the stipulated time and budget.
3. Coordinating with various teams including architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Creating, implementing, and monitoring project schedules.
5. Regularly reviewing and updating project plans and specifications.
6. Liaising with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress.
7. Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
8. Ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
9. Resolving any arising issues or challenges relating to the project.
10. Conducting regular site inspections and preparing progress reports.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proficient knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
4. Demonstrated experience in construction management, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficiency in using construction software like AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, etc.
10. A valid license to work as a Project Engineer.
