IT Support Engineer

IMMEDIATE NEW JOB OPENING for an IT Support Engineer to work on-site at our client s headquarters in Coral Gables, Florida. This role will report to the IT Manager. This role will work on-site Monday Thursday with most Fridays having a remote option.

Position Summary:

The IT Support Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support and assist with system administration and acquisition-related technology tasks across all corporate offices and stores. This role is essential in maintaining smooth IT operations across 260+ locations and the corporate team, ensuring users receive responsive support while maintaining compliance, security, and system integrity.

The position works closely with the IT Manager, an MSP who provides L1 helpdesk support, and various business units to resolve issues, deploy new systems, and support the integration of new acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide hands-on support for corporate and field users, including hardware, software, connectivity, and account-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT partners to triage and resolve help desk tickets and escalate vendor-related issues.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation, device setup, and account management for several platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with ISPs for network and connectivity issues.

System Administration

  • Support administration of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID environments.
  • Maintain and document inventory of IT assets, licenses, and configurations.
  • Assist with system monitoring, updates, and compliance-informed tasks.

Acquisitions & Projects

  • Support IT integration for new locations, including account creation, connectivity, ordering setup of other needs etc.
  • Assist with rollout of new systems, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base entries, and user guides.

Required Skills:

  • 2-5 years of IT Support Experience including IT operations, systems support, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and cloud-based management tools (Intune, Entra ID).
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or retail environments.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, ISPs, and vendor coordination.
  • Exposure to Microsoft administration, networking fundamentals, and ticketing systems.
